Reliance Defence buys additional 3.3% share in Pipavav from SAAB

Reliance Defence Systems (RDS) has acquired SAAB's 3.3% stake in Indian private shipyard Pipavav Defence and Offshore Engineering. With this acquisition Pipavav has become a part of Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group. Previously, RDS acquired a 17.66% stake in the company in Mar 2015 and an additional 17% stake in Dec 2015.
